How to prevent swine flu and other illnesses with SafeSpace®
Swine Flu prevention, like common flu prevention, is always the preference to beating a
case of any type of flu. More so these days as many infectious diseases are becoming resistant to antibiotics, adding to the concern of an
infectious Superbug developing in the future.
- Minimizing direct contact with people and or places where infected people are living or working offers the best Swine Flu prevention, but is not always practical.
- Second, and maybe more importantly, you need to have a regular habit of effective hand cleaning multiple times a day, preferably using warm
water and anti-bacterial soap.
Having facilities to wash your hands numerous times during the day is not always possible, so an effective
antibacterial hand sanitizer (maybe an alcohol free hand sanitizer such as
SafeSpace® Instant Hand Sanitizer
is the next best thing to effectively washing your hands. A nonalcohol hand sanitizer seems to be the preference
as the chances of hand sanitizer alcohol poisoning is a real concern these days.
- And third, be conscious of NOT putting objects (writing pens, fingers, etc.) in or around your mouth or nose as exposed mucus membranes are
the most common entry points for viruses and bacteria.
Door handles, copy machines, multi-user computers, break room coffee pots are just a
few of the items we touch daily which may harbor diseases such as Swine Flu, MRSA or the common cold or flu which can be transferred to our
hands and then to our mouth or nose.
SafeSpace® Disinfectant and Deodorizing Fogger uses a
proven virucidal, bactericidal, tuberculocidal, fungicidal and mold and mildew reducing disinfectant that dries with no residue.
Another area of high germ exposure that we tend to forget about is the bottoms of purses/backpacks and most often shoes.
(
"How Dirty Are Your Shoes?")
Imagine what nasty little germs you walk through on a daily basis or accidently set your purse in. Then, without thinking you go out to your
car with those same shoes, purse or backpack, and drive. The car's air conditioner/heater picks up those germs stirred up from the floor mats
and pushes them through the dark, damp recesses of a car vent system then right into your face. And that's YOUR car, imagine the exposure you
and your family risk getting into a rental car that may have had drivers sick with who knows what, from who knows where. This situation makes
a car disinfectant and deodorizer like
SafeSpace® Disinfectant & Deodorizing Mist
more desirable than just a pine tree car deodorized hanging from the rear view mirror. Though a quality car interior deodorizer will help
control odors, a car deodorizer alone cannot kill bacteria that cause odors and even illness.
